Data you actively provide
We collect personal data that you actively provide to us, such as your name, phone number, and email address. This occurs when you sign up for our newsletter, when your order products and services, or when you contact customer support for assistance with Estelle products.
If you have ordered and received an Estelle streaming product (a “Device”), you will need to connect the Device to a Wi-Fi network to enable its proper installation and function. Through the Device, you will have the opportunity to register an account with us (“Estelle Account”). Registering an Estelle Account with us requires that you provide us with some personal data about yourself.
If you purchase products from us at our store available at www.estelle.com (the “Store”), we will ask you provide your name and billing and contact information needed for delivery and setting up an account with us.
We may also ask you to provide personal data such as name and contact details that are required to support or claims that you present to us.
Automatically collected data
If you have chosen to register an Estelle Account with us, we may automatically gather device log data from your Device (“Log Data”) for the purpose of device troubleshooting and product development purposes. Log Data is normally anonymized instantly after it has been collected.

When you contact us in general matters
The data we process is your name, email address and phone number. We process this data to be able to communicate with you in general matters regarding our products and services.
When you sign up for an Estelle Account and use your Device
The data we process is your name, email address, country of residence, language preferences, your age and your order history. We use this data to fulfill the agreement we have with you. You may also choose to provide us with voluntary profile information such as city, postal code, gender, and interests. In addition, we may also use your data for marketing purposes.
We also process Log Data which we use for ensuring that your Estelle product and/or service to perform its fundamental functions securely. Log data may also be used for troubleshooting your Device and enable us to develop and offer improved Estelle products.
When you purchase products in the Store
The data we process is your name, contact information, address needed for billing and shipping products and purchase related data. We use this data to fulfill the agreement we have with you. We also process certain purchase related data to fulfill our legal obligations (e.g. for accounting purposes or fulfilling our obligations to you as a consumer). In addition, we may also process data about items you view, put in your cart or add to your wish list for marketing purposes Finally, we may also process your data if you communicate with us in customer support matters.

When we process your name, email address and phone number to be able to communicate to you in general matters, the processing of your data is based on our legitimate interest to be able to carry out such communication.
When you sign up for an Estelle Account and use your Device
The legal basis for processing your basic Estelle Account data (name, email address, country of residence, language preferences, your age, and your order history) is the contract between you and us. If you choose to provide us voluntary profile information (such as city, postal code, gender, and interests), the legal basis for processing your data is our legitimate interest providing enhanced Estelle Account features.
We may also process your basic Estelle Account data for marketing purposes. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest of communicating with you about new and improved products and services.
The legal basis for using Log Data is our legitimate interest to provide fully functional products and services, troubleshooting of your Device and general product development purposes.
In addition, we may also need to process your data to ensure that we meet your legal right to complain about a product. The legal basis for such processing is legal obligations.
When you purchase products in the Store
The legal basis for processing purchase related data is to fulfill our contractual obligations towards you. In addition, we may also need to process your data to ensure that we meet your legal right to complain about a product which means that the legal basis for such processing is legal obligations. If you communicate with us in a support matter, the legal basis may also be our legitimate interest in providing appropriate support to our customers (unless our support relates to our legal obligation to handle complaints). We also process financial data for fulfilling our legal obligations to maintain accurate accounts. Finally, we may also use or data for our legitimate interest of providing information about our products and services.

When you contact us in general matters
When we communicate with you in a general matter, we delete the data associated with the communication within 6 months from the when the matter has been closed.
When you sign up for an Estelle Account and use your Device
We will retain your Estelle Account data as long as you are registered with an Estelle Account plus a period of up to 2 years after the account has been terminated and all our obligations under the agreement between you and us have been fulfilled.
Log Data are normally anonymized instantly after we have collected it. The anonymization methods we use ensure that the data does not qualify as personal data once the anonymization has been made.
Should we for any reason be legally obliged to maintain your personal data for a long period of time than as set out above, your data will be deleted as soon as we are no longer obliged to retain it. As an example, this may apply during such period of time that you have a legal right to complain about a product you have purchased from us.
When you purchase products in the Store
We will keep data about your purchases for up to 3 years from the date of your purchase. Accounting data will be kept for as long as required by law (currently 7 years). If you contact us in a customer support matter, we will keep your data for a period of up to 1 year after the matter has been solved, unless we need to keep the data longer for the purpose of keeping accurate audit trail records.
With whom do we share your data?
As a general rule, we do not disclose your personal data to anyone else. However, we may need to share some basic information (such as name, contact details and tracking number) with our logistics partners if you purchase products from us or make a complaint about your Device and we need to transport and/or repair your Device. If you purchase products in the Store, we also need to share certain purchase related data to our payment services providers and logistic partners/carriers. In addition, your data may be shared with subcontractors who are only authorized to process the personal data they receive from us on our behalf, so-called data processors. Examples of data processors are software and data storage providers.
Where do we process your data?
We always aim to process your personal data within the EU/EEA. However, in certain situations, such as when we share your information with, for example, an IT provider with operations outside the EU/EEA, your personal data may be processed outside the EU/EEA. If and when your data is processed outside the EU/EEA, we will ensure that there is an adequate level of protection and that appropriate safeguards are in place (for example, through the use of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses).

• Right to restriction of processing: you can request that we restrict the processing of your personal data. This may be relevant, for example, if we have inaccurate data about you and you do not want the processing to continue until we have corrected the data.
• Right to erasure / right to be forgotten: you can request that we delete your personal data. While we will comply with such a request to the extent required by applicable law, please note that despite your request, we may continue to process certain data (such as data that we need to retain to protect our legal interests or that we are required to retain by law).
• Right to object: in connection with the processing of personal data based on legitimate interest, you have the right to object to the use of your personal data. If your privacy interests outweigh our interests in processing certain data, we will stop processing such data.
• Right to data portability: you may also have the right to access the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly accepted and machine-readable format, as well as the right to transfer the data to another data controller.

Troubleshooting/product enhancement: Estelle Device and services (such as Estelle One) may automatically collect, store, and/or process information necessary for their functionality and to provide fundamental features securely. This information may include information such as device ID, model, version of the operating system and identifiers as how you use your Estelle product. We collect data to analyze functionality and performance of Estelle products, for example we analyze your use and the products battery, fan, speaker, network capacity.
